Can I copy my Maps Favorites from Yosemite to El Capitan?
I have a new El Capitan machine...how do I move my Apple Maps Favorites from the old Yosemite machine?

You might try making a copy of these two files:
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.MapsSupport.plist
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mediaaccessibility.plist
And, transfer them to the same folder on the other computer.
Three Ways to Make the Home/Library Folder Visible
A. This method will make the folder visible permanently. Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder and paste the following at the command prompt:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press RETURN.
B. Click on the Desktop, press the Option (⌥) key, select Library from the Finder's Go menu.
C. Select Go To Folder from the Finder's Go menu. Paste the following in the path field:
~/Library
Click on the Go button.
[Exclusive permission to use the above has been granted to theratter by Kappy.]
How about moving the
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Maps
moving the folder from here
~/Library/Containers/
Moving the entire ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Maps folder to the same folder on the new Mac solved this issue.
Thank you!
